Winnipeg should thank the Thrashers for moving so Winnipeg does not become an expansion team team where they'd have to have really crappy players...Thrashers are giving them some great young players/prospects.

I was thinking about this today at work when I was bored :lol: but ya for the most part a penalty shot is usually a goal but if they do miss itd be cool to see the player causing the penalty shot still go off in the box, it would make things really interesting. Players would sure smarten up but...

Here's an idea...say the player gets a penalty shot but does not score on the penalty shot. Should the player who caused the penalty shot go off and sit in the box for 2 minutes?

haha ya, Im perfectly fine with the name Jets dont get me wrong there..I do think its a cool name but I just think it would have been better to go with a new name for the team but like you said the city would have exploded if that happen...we dont want Winnipeg turning into Vancouver! :D

Yup and they were in the playoffs+World Series not too long ago but just the fact there in the NL West division, they have the better chance.
