Just thought I'd make an official topic for it. Kind of dissapointed Tex didn't get on the roster, but understandable with the talent ahead of him.

Haters gonna hate on Vogelsong

I wouldn't say he's "undeserving", just there are more deserving players that should have been selected over him like Tommy Hanson or Annibal Sanchez.

His 13th start was today and thats still too little to be an All Star IMO

Happy Reyes got the starter spot for SS. Beltran got in as well which is cool. Derek Jeter is definitely the best SS in the american league.

Yeah not sure I agree with Jeter as the best SS in the AL. Also can't believe that CC didn't make the team, granted he wouldn't be able to pitch but he still deserves to be considered an All Star.

Jeter was the best shortstop in the AL, but he isn't anymore.

Jhonny Peralta statistically is better than both Cabrera and Jeter.
HE should be starting.

May as well make this a Yankees- Brewers game...

But in all seriousness, I'm surprised to see Jeter there, especially because of the injury. He used to be the best SS in the league, but he's on the decline, in reality.

Also, pretty happy to see Jose Bautista get the most votes. The guy is truly a freak of nature. The home-run yesterday off Doc was nuts. 459, IIRC.

Two Yankees who don't deserve to go are going.

Three Yankees were blatantly snubbed.

Can't complain.

They're equal except for average, and Asdrubal makes up for it by being 100x the defender that Peralta dreams about being. Plus he is carrying a team, not hitting 7th and 8th behind all-star hitters seeing fastballs constantly.

No question that Asdrubal deserves it over Peralta.

Kennedy, Kimbrel or Hanson should be in over Vogelsong

Mark and CC not being there is ridiculous.

Even more ridiculous that Mark didn't make the Final Vote thing.
