Hello all, I am Allen on ADFS. I am a huge baseball fan, MMA fan, wrestling fan. Can get into discussion about every sport, but those are my interested ones.

After an excellent spring, Mitchell has broken his toe, and will be out for at least 3 months.
Tough blow for the guy, and for the Yankees pitching...again.

So Chris Young and Brock Holt will be platooning in LF...Travis Shaw instead of Panda. Big contracts on the bench, there has to be a trade, right?

Austin Jackson and the White Sox have come to an agreement on a one year 5 million dollar deal.
Solid deal for both sides, Jackson is elite in CF and that is where he will play in Chicago. The White Sox have made some noise this off-season.
Every spring training can be put in here, from games to injuries...of course serious injuries can go into team areas.
Red Sox with a solid win today, super excited for Carson Smith so far!
Tyler Clippard and the DiamondBacks have agreed upon a two year 12.25 million dollar deal.
Solid deal for both sides, Clippard has a solid track record as a solid arm, and the Backs definitely needed a top one to their team.

Joel Peralta and the Seattle Mariners have agreed upon a minor league deal.
Solid deal for the Mariners to obtain a veteran arm to their pen, could see him making the team.

Latos and the White Sox have agreed upon a one year deal, the contract info will be out shortly I assume.
Solid signing for the White Sox to see if he can put it all back together. Sure it'll be incentive based.

Main thread for the biggest fish left on the market. Tons of rumors going on for him right now, a huge one being the Nationals are attempting to sign him.
How'd he fit?

Interesting deal. It is a one year $2 million dollar deal, but with very big incentives to reach $7 million. Could be a steal in that ball park, or could turn out to be a cheap pen option they later release.
Crazy deal, the Tigers always end up upgrading somehow. Zimmerann and Upton in one off-season. They want to win, and win now while their owner is still alive.
Thoughts?
This could be very, very big. I could see the Mets turning focus on either Davis (move Duda to OF...yuck) or Upton if the O's make out with Cespedes. Cespedes i would hate to see in an Oriole uniform, but at this proposed price i think he should take it. 5 years @ 90 million with an option for a...
The Final Boss is now apart of the Cardinals organization. The fun part to him is this is only a one year deal with an option, so another team could get him rather soon instead of waiting around a few years for them to hit the market again.
Wow, after him waiting this long i am shocked they gave him this much money. Now i totally expect CarGo to be dealt, but with Cespedes and Upton still on the market this becomes rather interesting.
So as we have seen over the course of this off-season and in the past, the opt-out has been becoming very popular for players and teams. What are your feelings for this deal? Is it a good thing for players and teams, or not so much? Every opinion counts, no wrong one here!
Good get for the Marlins right here. Chen will be a solid number three for their staff, and with the opt out they may not even have to pay him the full amount.
I mean both men would make for a solid 3-4 in their rotation, but along with both they will be losing their 24th overall pick. I'm juts not sure if either are truly worth it, unless they get one of them on the cheaps...i still think a 4-5 year deal is likely for both men in the 68-72 million...
This would literally be the dumbest thing the Braves could do. They've been awful lately, but that robbery they made on Arizona needs to stay that way. Don't try and trade away Inciarte now. Alone he is worth Shelby Miller, and they already have tons of pitching...stay put now and let the...
Mariners have inked reliever Ryan Cook.
Could be a potential solid move, he was a solid reliever out in Oakland and just lost it. Couldn't get it back with Boston (bummed he got booted). I hope he can work some magic back in Seattle.
