lol J didn't ask anyone to sell it.

Basically, he PMed me and AE about 12 hours before the post - and I read it only a few hours before. I just played along, being an even more pissy version of myself. Looks like it worked well :D

to clear things up --

I asked Yanks and Marcum only..

Pugz had posted he had been laid off, so I did not approach. I had finalized the sale prior to ipb3.0 being upgraded, and AE hadn't been on the board since first week of February. Why would I sell to someone who had not been on the board in 6 weeks?

I did not offer to Rip or whoever, because I'm getting over $1000 for the site. Not many people can come up with that sort of money quickly.

SI has been up for 4 years now, so.

4 years = 4 days of April Fools -------- :))))) yeah, like I'd ever give the site up
I KNEW IT!!!

i mean come on, even if you were going to sell the place you would have approached others about it, haha.

I swear this was like WWE. Good job though. Some people fell for it, some people didn't. I just kinda went with it lol.

I was waiting for Vince McMahon to enter the ring and cause some more <Censored> to happen with all this drama.

Still think Jarrod should have used my idea (don't know if he still remembers) but this still worked. Funny, though, that most of the people who were up in arms and upset are the ones who had/have a problem with Yanks lol

And even more funny (or sad, really) is that I don't remember half the people or the reasons why they don't like me :K

What makes this prank so great is that it was dragged out for so long that even those who threw the bullsh*t flag to begin with...started to get mind-f*cked.

Best was GMF's long-ass reply in this thread, expressing his distaste for the move.
