I would have thought he would end it after his inevitable Tyler Zeller straight up offer got declined.

It's not great, but criticism coming from the team that consistently has the most absurd rumored trades is also funny.

My Melo to Miami predictions are not looking great as of now. I blame Zingis Khan.

The rise of Tingis Pingis honestly just creates more of a reason for them to move Melo.

Apparently Dwight to BOS talks are over, for now.

Houston's offer in exchange for Howard was to include two of the three: Jae Crowder, Marcus Smart, 2016 BKN 1st

... and Ainge ended things after that fairly quickly lmao

The problem with assets and having too many of them is you think theyre worth more than they actually are and are a little stingy with them. Then you end up keeping them too long

The Celtics don't have "too many" assets.

what kind of contract does he have? without knowing off the top of my head, throw in larkin and id jump on this. he isnt a long-term answer but i think hed help and we can use our cap in the offseason to try and swing a trade or sign some guys for the bench. i dont think the teams potential is as high but if we sign ryan anderson at $18M per, it's still not high.

yes and no

we're not going to dump Marcus Smart (at worst a great defensive player), Jae Crowder (4th among SFs in VORP, although technically 5th since PG13 is listed as a PF), and the BKN almost guaranteed Top 5 pick, for a 30 year old center with injury history on a 1 year contract. That's just plain stupid

I agree our "assets" like Young, Hunter, and Rozier will probably not end up as much. Our current 1st/Dallas' 1st arent worth a whole lot either, in my opinion. But we arent going to move any of those 3 top assets for dwight lol. For Blake or Melo? Maybe not all three but i'd move them

You only trade for dwight if you think you can re-sign him. And you know Stevens will get the most out of him

Crowder or Smart
Lee
Nets pick

For

Dwight

Is fair

That nets pick alone is a lot more valuable than Dwight
