You don't need cap for Drummond, but he occupies cap space

you do in a way

For 2K/FBB style, not really, but there is always a hypothetical that Drummond signs a contract early on and Horford doesn't

If Drummond signs a max offer (because QO), Detroit has 5-7 days to match. If Horford wants to wait until later in FA, you won't have the cap.

So yes, you can sign Horford and then Drummond. But you can't sign Drummond and then Horford

But that's only about $4.4M, which isn't significant enough to not sign Horford on Day 1

Yea, as soon as this guy is gone the Lakers may begin to start contending and bringing in elite players.  Obviously, the best thing for the Lakers is Kobe's retirement

It would be crazy for me to see KD and Westbrook in a Lakers uni (if it ever happened)

Woj says the Warriors are "significant" favorites to sign Durant if he leaves

That's my biggest fear

Woj also says the Wizards, heat and rockets are possible

Clips want him too and would move Blake to do so

I just don't see how you can join a (possibly) two time defending champion if you're Kevin Durant. There's absolutely nothing in it for you except immense pressure to not fuck anything up. I believe he's still at a point in his career where he wants to prove something on his own.

Heat? Nope. He doesn't wanna follow the path of LeBron. Wizards, maybe. But the whole hometown angle is way overrated. Rockets could make sense maybe for him on a personal level but I hope he sees that he has a better team around him in OKC.

My bet is still OKC.

Oh and Lakers? Please.

And here you are, thinking that he'll leave for Byron Scott and Roy Hibbert

Haha
We all know byron is getting fired

And if he were to come to LA it would be in 2017 with Russell, not now

Do players really have that big of a hard on for Los Angeles?

Nobody has ever wanted to play with kobe

A team with no face and cap space will change it though

Yea, might be able to get a Greg Monroe type to be that face.
