Cromartie to the Jets for a 3rd round pick that could turn into a 2nd rounder based on his play.

Why would the Chargers help out a team in their conference that was one game away from the Super Bowl. SMH!

Must be something wrong with Cromartie? Reminds me of when we traded Braylon to the Jets, had one great year and nothing else, got a 3rd rounder from it. Chargers seem to be doing the same thing. Looks flashy at first but probably won't turn out to be a good move.

Maybe so, if so then I guess it's good we didn't pursue him harder.

I heard the Chargers were going to release him if they couldn't trade him.

Even if hes hurt or whatever, if he comes in and plays great then we made out with that deal. We should have tried a little harder, for the team AND fans.

I guess Schwartz wants corners who can defend the run better. I guess that is Cromartie's weak side. That is the reason that Buchanan was benched last season, then released today.

Which was also stupid IMO. I liked him.

I guess we are also letting Foote walk. Ugh, I don't get it.

Yeah no kidding. Why get rid of them when we trying to build a better defense. They actually were OK last year lol.

Plus like outside of Delmas, I really can't name another secondary player.

I think that Detroit should trade down.

Suh is either going to be great or be average, he's not going to suck but you can't predict <Censored> like this,

I would take a DB if I were the Lions.

It's a good class to do that. Rolle, Haden, Berry, Thomas, Mays, Jackson, and Cook look to be ready for the next level.

Why not get rid of that pick for more selections.

I wouldn't want the first-fifth picks.

Too much <Censored> go to hell with those guys.

As you should.

While many Lions fans that I talk to <Censored> about the O-line, that can all be bought.

You can build a good O-line through free agency and late picks.

Look at New England, the highest guy on that line taken was Light in the second, Koppen was like a fifth rounder, Kaczur a third.

All of those guys are great.

I believe that O-line is all in the coaching, not so much in the personnel.

Cromartie can't play the run and has documented problems even playing good coverage.

With that said, a future 3rd/2nd is a good deal for the Jets, and a good deal for the Chargers. I think Cromartie could go back to 6-8 INT this year being "bullied" because Revis will be even more respected after another year of dominance. Then again, Cromartie could just as easily give up a ton of big plays and get benched/go to nickel, but it's low risk - moderately high reward for the Jets.

Panthers cut Delhommie :D

You must be happy.

It's about <Censored>ing time.

And I think he could have success in Ryan's defense.

With the name Revis being said, God I wish he played in Tampa.

I think he could do well, but ultimately it doesn't change my opinion on them next year. Early prediction (pre-draft and FA, so obviously subject to change) is 8 wins. This is largely contingent on them not signing any of the top RBs (LT, Westbrook, Parker, etc)

Very happy Delhomme is gone - and it looks like we're moving toward getting Vick >_>

If that <Censored> comes back to the NFC South I'll chop my balls off.

I hated when we had to play him.

I wouldn't go that far, but I'd <Censored>ing hate it so much.

It was so gay playing the Falcons, I always knew that <Censored> was going to something to make us look stupid.

And he usually did.
