lol you must not of watched the game...he shot them into the game. He hit a big shot with like a minute left to tie it. He had no one to help him....that, THATS why they lost. If they would of had Davies....they would of won...and Davies is NO SULLINGER.
Yes but Diebler is also playing against much better competition. It's a two way street. You can't argue he had no help, because, if nothing else, he had a team full of plenty of guys who could hit shots.

omg....some people.

When did I say Jimmer will be an AMAING NBA PLAYER?!?!!?!?!?!?!?! My heck read what I post. I've never said that...ever.
Lol you imply it, constantly when someone starts criticizes your opinion you just say "we'll see" which to me means "I think he's gonna be great but you guys will have to wait and see so I can say I told ya so".

But most of the time they didn't hit shots...but yes it is a 2-way street. I wish there was a way to see how Jimmer would do on Ohio State or another team like that. I think he would do just fine...but we will never know.

We spend far too much time talking about mediocre players

Jackson Emery and Noah Hartsock shot 36 and 43 percent from three, respectively. The bottom line is, Jimmer's scoring stats are far inflated by the fact that he played against poor competition. 3-15 against Florida is terrible, and it's not like he did much better against Wofford: 2-9. Overall 33% from the three in the tournament (had a good game vs. Gonzaga who could not guard the PG position - David Stockton).

Thats cause everyone on here is saying he won't even play in the NBA...<_<

Heard he has a 7'2 wingspan. For a 6'5 Guard, Thats amazing haha
Holy crap! Thats ridiculous...we'll find out for sure tomorrow. Thats when they do all the measurements and leaping and stuff.

We arent saying he wont play in the NBA...We are saying that all he will most likely be is a bench player or Spot up shooter of the bench.

He's a long ways away from being able to contribute in the NBA though, DJT. He has no true NBA position, he's a very good, not great shooter who in a limited sample size against great competition didn't fair very well. He plays no defense, etc. Unless he goes into a great situation he's going to ride the pine for a long while, maybe years.

CC said he would just sit on the bench...

But in the NBA today, it almost doesn't matter if you have no position...if he gets on a team, his main, probably only purpose will be to hit shots...and most of those 3s. I honestly don't see how he can't play. I mean him on the Heat...or even Bulls, he will sit outside, someone would drive in, or draw the defense, he'd be wide open and he can hit that shot, everyone knows. Even if the Jazz draft him (which is not a great situation) he will come off the bench and hit shots. And I don't see where you get against "great competition" he didn't fair well. The best defenders to guard him was not on Florida, San Diego State had better defenders...and he smoked em.

Sure he can hit shots, look at Redick though (who is a better shooter). Even with his great shot, he did not play in the NBA consistently until he learned to defend. And yeah, he had a great shooting night in the first game against SDSU. Second game - 8-23 in a win. Third game - 10-25 in a blowout loss. Florida was the best team he faced all season and he lost.

He should be. He had some real nice range today at the combine. Hit like 3-4 shots from 3 that they showed...
Both guys are gym rats and it hasnt hurt to have the best big man coach in america coaching them up the past 3 years. Marcus can be a good scorer and Kieff could play 10 years if he dedicates himself to a pick and pop PF and be aggressive on the boards.

I wish Josh would stop trying to be a two guard..but he has my support as well.

Yet all of those games he finished with what I know at least 20...possibly over 30, too lazy to look it up.

It'd be sweet if they somehow go to the same team...can't see it happening though.

Yeah Josh is what like 6-2...pretty small for a SG.

So if he scores 30 pts on 30 shots, is that good? That's the opposite of efficient, DJT. You know better than that. Was his game vs. Florida a good game? No.

Like I've said, he's not a great shooter - very good one. Look at all the players in the NBA who are in the league predominantly for their shot - Redick, Korver, etc. All are much better shooters, and all are better defenders.
