the offense may be lead by lebron or wade you still need your point to be a leader and bibby can do that.

The Heat will release Carlos Arroyo to make room for Mike Bibby.

Bibby was released by the Wizards, who acquired him from the Hawks last week, after the two sides reached an agreement on a buyout.

Cutting Arroyo loose opens up a roster spot for Bibby, who will officially clear waivers on Wednesday at 6 p.m. ET.

Arroyo wasn't even playing anymore so justifying bringing him and trying to integrate a new piece into our rotation because he's better than our backup PG who doesn't touch the court anymore is ridiculous.

I see no way that this is a bad move for the Heat... Bibby gets to guard the worst peremiter player from the other team, because they have Wade and LeBron... He get's to play off the ball and just shoot (which he is doing great this season), because Wade and LeBron handle the ball. This is a great move for Miami IMO, and yes, I know it's not the same Bibby from Sacramento. >_>

We know that Bibby blows now. But if there's one thing Bibby is, it's that he's a dead-eye shooter and has proven time and time again over his career that he could hit big shots. And he can still run players and make good passes when asked to. He's insurance. Way better option than Arroyo. Good move by the Heat.

I won't have a problem with it if he's committed to playing defense, we can score believe that. Ijs we can't stop anybody decent. And for us to bring in someone who isn't going to help us on defense aggravates the fuck outta me.
