i'd much rather have bibby than delonte

delonte has an awful shot selection, and is as good, maybe a bit worse, of a shooter than bibs

SMH y'all act like Bibs is a scrub. Anybody remember how much of a beast he was during that Kings title run? Bibs is pretty sorry at defense but he won't terrible. He gets the Jon done. I'd love for Bibs to come to Boston. We need some back up at PG.

I don't see why the boy Bibs is getting so much hate around these parts.

He wasn't even that good back then, all those scoring options and he couldn't even average 7 assists in any of those years

thats not always his fault.

i can start a play by hitting a backdoor cut, but if that player dishes it off or waits for a better shot then i dont get the dime. but thats also most of the time better basketball.

The best PGs always get their assists, regardless of all that

lol you guys

I need $tunna to come help me on this. he'll tell you

some of you obviously havent watched him the past 2 years. especially this year

the only thing he's good at is 3's. i think i said yesterday the heat dont need him. they dont, but after thinking of it, i'd rather have him over Arroyo

but they are literally the only team i could think of that could potentially use him. all the other teams have better options imo

The Heat would like to sign Mike Bibby if the Wizards give him a buyout; Washington called it unlikely but hasn’t ruled it out. The Heat will explore Troy Murphy if he gets a buyout from Golden State (one report has Boston as the front-runner) and perhaps Indiana’s T.J. Ford, but he’s a poor three-point shooter.

The Wizards and Mike Bibby have agreed to a buyout. Bibby is expected to receive interest from the Heat, amongst other playoff contenders.

Source: Bibby To Sign With Heat

Mike Bibby has agreed to a buyout of his entire 11-12 salary worth $6.2 million and will likely sign with the Heat after clearing waivers.

"He sacrificed some money in order to win a championship," said David Falk, Bibby's agent. "Once you're past 10, 11 years in the league, you want to be in a situation where you can win. He's got some attractive options open to him."

The Lakers, Celtics and Blazers are also interested in Bibby.

Not surprised. He could end up starting for them.
