Gonna re-open. I noticed the tie was broken, but gonna leave it open to see if any stragglers decide to vote.

I think you guys voting against Rose are voting off of name reputation, not those voting for him. According to the guideline set beforehand, being:
If you want to win a game scheduled for tomorrow, who are you taking, I don't see why Rose shouldn't win this voting.

They're both inefficient on offense but Lowry is the vastly superior defender.

Per 36 this year he still averaged 21 and 6. If you want to get technical, the playoff sample size is bigger than the 2013-14 season which I'm SURE you're using in your argument.
Per 36 isn't very helpful when the player in question can't handle the minutes because he is frail.

Also, us Lowry voters need to rally behind Bledsoe for 10 ;)

Per 36 can make a lot of players look better than they are... it's not a good way to look at statistics. And by those stats Lowry looks better in the season. He played horrible in the playoffs but that's a 4 game sample size

Neither player was super efficient, but Lowry was essentially average efficiency wise (52.7% and 36th percentile) vs Rose who was well below average (49.3% and 76th percentile).

For the MILLIONTH time, no one is suggesting that Rose was a top 10 point guard statistically last season.

Yeah sure vote for a guy who has never led a team to the playoffs.

(And yes I know he made it as a backup with the clippers)

The Suns won 48 games in '13-'14, in the West.

Voting for him on the basis he might get back to a top 10 PG then really makes no sense.

I could argue Eric Gordon looked better than JJ Redick in the playoffs. Am I ok to assume you're gonna vote Gordon ahead of Redick?
