you rarely see halfcourt bombs that go in exactly with the horn

Probably because most people would try to get a little closer.  Steph doesn't have time for that shit.

How about the other 50% of the game?
lol, said by the Westbrook fanboy

Isaiah tries on every defensive possession as hard as he can, and gives 100%. Just can't do much because physically outmatched.

Westbrook on the other hand, is an awful defender. You can't even deny -- with his size, speed, and athleticism, if Westbrook tried 100% on defense he'd be great at it. But he doesn't. He ignores his matchups left and right so he can pad his rebounding stats. It's like with Rondo -- people called him great defensively until they realized he gave zero fucks on that end of the court and he did only what would show on a stat sheet

Didn't the metric you posted the other day say he was around average?

One thing I will say about Russ is that he has to be very careful on defense. He knows he can't be too aggressive because if he goes to the bench with fouls his team might be out of the game by the time he gets back in.

I still don't think he'd be a good defender if he didn't have to worry about this, but it might explain why you think he doesn't try.

Melo would be a moron to stay in new york just to stay in the big market. I mean i wouldnt be surprised bc hes all about his money and brand but what im saying is his clock is ticking and the smart move would be to go to a team thats actually competing in the playoffs

Russ , thon maker , dion waiters , doesnt matter. Winning is what matters and thats not what hes doing right now, but like i said to each their own, obviously hes just proving more and more that winning to him doesnt matter whatsover

From a basketball perspective you telling me in his position you wouldnt wanna go anywhere where you have a chance to compete in the playoffs instead of being stuck as an 11th seed?? Sucha narrow minded way to look at it but whatever
Isn't this why you hate KD though? Left his team for a chance to win more?

Melos been loyal..

The thing with Phil is, he has never liked melo. But he still offered him the max when he didn't have to

Yeah that was a mistake. I do agree that Phil probably didn't want anything to do with Melo to being with... Yet still payed him

If the organization is out there blasting you and saying they wanna trade you , the loyalty is over. No one did that to KD , he chose to leave on his own. Melo has been blasted on trade rumors , its a bit different situations

Lol are you just now realizing that there's no such thing as loyalty in sports? Only reason no one on the Thunder trashed KD is because he's one of the best players in the world, if he weren't nearly as good and making as much money as Melo they would absolutely be trying to trade him

Dont assume what would happen. What happened is what happened , he didnt wanna stay with a team that was 48 minutes away from the finals 3 times , and chose to go to a team that beat him. Thats not just unloyal , thats some pussy ass lebron petty shit. And yea , the loyalty has stopped ever since lebron has become the face of the nba. He made this league soft af , but theres still some loyal guys out there , no question

There's no such thing as loyalty, only players that stay with their teams because of financial (or personal) reasons.
In reality nobody gives a crap what team they play for, if the situation would be better somewhere else, they'd do something about it.

I think it's time you get over it. KD doesn't give a fuck what you think and he shouldn't.

Loyalty in sports doesn't exist and this Melo situation is proving that

Acting like players have some obligation to be loyal to these teams is hilarious. If they had a career threatening injury and an owner had a way to ditch them, they would. The players don't owe the owners or GMs anything

Why should players be loyal when owners aren't? It makes no sense. They should look out for what's best for them and only what's best for them

Don't shy away from that question, why should players be loyal when the owners are not?
