We will be starting our 5th annual SI player rankings.  Last year we only go to the SF position, but I'm quite determined to get the rankings completely finished this year.

Don't be afraid to share your opinion, whether it's a popular one or not.  We will once again be going 10 spots deep at all 5 positions.

Please remember these two things, please vote on the polls and vote for the best player, don't be a homer.  Most of the polls will be open 24 hours, but if the first place vote getter gets 5 or more votes than the second vote getter than I will close the thread if I'm around. Nola and I will be guys running the polls in order to try to get this done this time around.

Remember, this is based on who is currently the best player, not who has the potential to be the best.  Who would you take today?

I'm probably in the minority but Monta Ellis intrigues me here. As does Derozan and Matthews.

Went with Wiggins. Might be too soon, but his post all-star break numbers are pretty good.

Didn't he shoot like 18% from three post break?

He shot 36% from three before he was instructed to stop taking them. Kobe shot under 30% :kobe:

Okay there's still much better choices than Wiggins haha. He shouldn't even be in the top 10.

Granted there's probably other guys you could take over Kobe still but wiggins is NOT one of them based on last season.

I'd take Wiggins top 10. Just not this early.

People are trying to hype wiggins too early. He was good but not nearly as good as some people think.

I would be very comfortable with him at the #10 spot though.

Why is Kevin Martin not on the poll but Dion Waiters is?

Wiggins had a great rookie season but #6 is way to early for him, there is about seven guys that are currently better. I think people are confusing what he could be for what he currently is.

I've got three guys I'm looking at but I don't know who I should go with.

I know who I want to take but his lack of offensive versatility kind of knocks him down a few notches for me.
