Jays fans need to realize that just because Pillar dives for every ball, doesn't make him the best defensive player in baseball.

KK is great, but I think their main grip is that he didn't play enough games to qualify for GG. It's whatever though, Kiermaier is going to be a gold glover for a long time, and rightfully so.

I agree with that 100%. Pillar was my pick this year because of Kiermaier's injury.

But the argument "did you see him on the highlight reel everynight looking like superman" sucks. Take better routes, and you wouldn't have to be superman.

Lindor was better than Simmons imo this year because of Simmons' injury.

Ian Kinsler finally won a gold glove.

Long time coming, but idk if this was the year to give it to him.

But the 3 guys i named are definitely the best to me

Also i love brandon crawford. Guy makes every single play. Great shortstop. Good for him

Crawford makes it look easy.

And Teagz I felt Pedroia deserved it this year. But its good to see Kinsler get his first. Definitely deserved one by now.

Yeah i just figured it would go to Pedroia since it seems like he wins every year.

Kinsler really beat out Pedroia? That surprises me, especially given Red Sox bias

Snipe, if EE and Bautista leave this offseason, you think it might be beneficial to shop Donaldson? He just put up WARs of 7.6, 6.6, 8.7 and 7.6 in the last 4 seasons and turns 31 this offseason. Jays could get a hell of a haul.

If the Tigers trade Miggy or JV I'm done. Those two should be Tigers until they retire.
That's gonna make it hard to rebuild anytime soon

The length of their contracts decreases their trade value dramatically, which makes it hard to get fair value for two guys who have carried the franchise for almost a decade.

Absolutely. Detroit wouldn't be trading them to get fair value, they would be trading them for financial flexibility while they still have value left
