We really love sticking with our guns on maintaining a strong defensive core at all time. With Wade's intense wingspan we feel he can really become a strong defensive force in the league. With the new addition of "offensive minded" coach Nate McMillan, this pick should complement the team well by starting with a strong defensive player and focusing on his offensive improvement.

Hernangomez's size and skill set projects to give him the ability to slide between the three and four during his NBA career, but we will project him as a four in San Antonio.  He has impressive athleticism and mobility for his size, with the ability to play above the rim.  He also has the ability to stretch the floor and hit from three, as well as being able to put the ball on the floor and attack closeouts.  Capable passer.
