Just finished watching the race and this was the kind of run you want to see, bad car to start and great car to finish.

He was completely flying at the end!

I miss that car. Easily my favorite paint scheme in the league. That was a beauty running under the lights at daytona. That was 2004, I think that year there was 15 coke zero cars, and 1 pepsi car. Gordon won.

I remember him winning at Talladega with that car, when fans were throwing crap at him. It's crazy how different the fans perceive Gordon now, it's a lot different than it ever use to be. Probably because he hasn't won as much, people don't like winners but he'll forever be a winner.

Practice is on today at 4.. Wonder if Jeff & Mark are going to work together again.. I think Jeff needs to work with Bayne instead.

Jeff and Mark worked together and they were both fast. I think it's safe to say whenever Jeff is fast right off the truck, he'll be very good.

Yeah, but being fast at Daytona doesn't account for much, but it's nice to see. I think they used two other cars draft in front of them to get some extra speed. But, a lot do that.
