Also, it's not like Joyce is a bad umpire anyway. He said he made a mistake, this is an isolated incident.

is not a reverse call ? ok so a homerun can be a reversable call, am i right ? but when a umpire makes a bad call is not reversable ?

that make no sense...everything should be reversable, not just homeruns

Replay challenges of homeruns is a new rule...there's no rule to challenge anything else.

it doesnt matter....if you going to apply the replay, why cant they apply it to everything else, to make the game fair and not lopsided

Don't understand how this could be even remotely close to being safe.

Selig is an idiot for not reversing the call. There would be no harm done by reversing this because its a very rare and isolated incident. And he of all people should give a crap because he is about done as commish anyways.

If he threw it any earlier it would of been an error, cause he threw it just as Galarraga covered the bag.

your right, but the thing i don't get is that people say if he over turn the call it would bring more harm to him, but what harm is going to be brought towards him, when everyone wants the call to be over turn.

Exactly. We would of all actually respected him for doing so, cause it is the right thing to do.

the most important fact in turning it over is the fact that joyce admits it was a terrible call and feels bad about it.

I loved also the fact that the whole Indians team were in shock as well. Every single player on that roster I would guaranteed would be for the MLB to overturn this, even Donald.
