Josh Smith is the Pistons best player, which is why I would hesitate when making any bold predictions on that team.

Brandon Jennings on being traded to Detroit: "Lets just say I'm smiling from ear to ear."

Oh I totally agree that yall are better and probably will get better.

BTW cheato, I would take Monroe over Smith. Especially if we're talking about the future.

If we're talking teams I'd take the Cavs over the Pistons if Bynum is healthy, but he won't be

Either way we can nitpick all we want, but we wont know how they will gel until the season actually starts.

Bottom line is that we turned Corey Maggette, Jason Maxiell, Khris Middleton, Slava Kratsov, Brandon Knight into Brandon Jennings, Josh Smith, Chancey Billups, and Luigi Datome.

That is one successful ass off-season.

I'm talking strictly next year. But I would say Monroe is better with the plan being to have Josh play SF.

we got streaky last season and weren't that far off until we fell apart again. this season is all about coaching. if they can harness the egos and get them(bj and smoove) to buy in, this team will go places.

by places i mean a first round exit which id love.

Pistons won. Knight isn't that good. The shot selection from Jennings & Josh Smith though....

They'll be fun to use in 2k14 though.

COACH NICK HERE

I think it's pretty clear Detroit just wants to win a little right now to help with ticket sales and help some guys keep their jobs.
It doesn't look like that team in its current state has a future but you can understand why they brought in two fringe all stars.

2k Pistons are gonna be fun though.

he was a restricted free agent. have a clue what that means?
yes I do. What does that have to do with them trading their most promising guard for a horrible shot jacker who can't shoot and won't pass?

That's really all you have to say. They didn't make this move with contending in mind.

Easy trade
Knight scored only 3 less points a game in less minutes an much less shot attempts. Knight will be an Allstatrin the future, his biggest problem is inconsistency. One game he'll drop 30, the next he'll got O for.

Yeh, I love Knight. But this trade is a no brainer.
