Have you ever even seen him pitch?

Plus all you looked at was the blown saves. SMH
You're right, I've never seen him pitch. I only watched every Yankee-Red Sox game this season, I'm sure he never pitched once

If you're not even a closer and you blow 7 saves, you're not reliable.

I guess 32 holds is unreliable too.

Look at Mike Adams. 38 holds, however 4 BS in 4 chances.

Kuo: 73 K's
Adams: 73 K's

Kuo: WHIP .78
Adams: WHIP 1.07

Miggy at 3B? I would probably gouge my eyes out watching him attempt to play defense.

If it's all about stats last year why do you have Ichiro over Choo? This whole thing just shows how underrated Choo is.. He had the best stats in RF for anyone last year with no protection in lineup and no one has him on their list. Also an elite level defensive player.

Ichiro is a singles hitter who hit .315. He's not the best RF in Baseball anymore.

i forgot about Choo honestly
i just copied Yanks' list and did some editing :p

i might put Dunn ahead of Ortiz as DH, but i havent seen him get consistent AB's as a DH

Mike Adams wasn't my pick was he?
Yeah you're pick was Benoit...who is that much better than Bard or Adams?

Look, he can make a case for Bard. You bringing up his blown saves means nothing unless you'd like to elaborate further on how those blown saves make him much worse than Benoit or even Adams.

Lester is top 3 but not best, same with Gonzalez. At least he can make a case for Bard
see i misread the topic; i thought it said at the end of 2011.

ATM yeah lester and gonzo arent.

but lester is a soon to be consistent 20 game winner. if he has a good year, and cliff has a bad year, Lester will be the #1 lefty

(yeah the only stats CC has a higher number than lester are in Wins, Losses (Lester has a better winning percentage), starts, IP, Ks {(lester has a better K/IP ratio), and CG. Lester>CC)

and Gonzo could potentially rake at Fenway. I wouldnt be surprised if he led the MLB in doubles, top 5 in HR, top 5 in RBI, and top 5 in BA.

he is a boss. And with good speed above him in the lineup, (ells, pedroia, crawford), most pitchers will be pitching from the stretch, which will help Gonzalez produce lots

yeah atm its not lester or gonzo. by the end of the year? maybe so.

C: Joe Mauer, is there really any other catcher close to him?
1B: Tex, sure Pujols has been on horse tranqs but how can you hate a gold glover and a switch hitting powerful 1B?
2B: Robinson Cano
3B: David Wright
SS: Tulo
LF: Ryan Braun
CF: Tori Hunter - This poor man is getting forgotten!
RF: Ichiro Suzuki
DH: Adam Lind

SP(RHP): Roy Halladay
SP(LHP): CC Sabathia
Setup Man: Josh Bard
Closer: Carlos Marmol - I'm a true cubs fan. I believe if he could get his accuracy down he'd be one of the top closers year out!

when he hits for .256, .365 OBP, .481 SLG, .486 OPS

I'd take Votto, Pujols, Gonzalez, Youkilis( yeah look at the stats, he played better), Miggy, etc over Teix anyday
