I mean, typically the team with the best record doesnt win the World Series so... the Red Sox fan pessimism is understandable.
It just comes across as spoiled to me. How about you enjoy the fact that the team has been playing over their heads all season rather than trying to find the reason why it will stop?

that's also not a reason to be pessimistic, that's just the reality of a small sample size in a sport that is very hard to predict in small doses. A player can legitimately be lucky over the course of an entire season because of how random the game is at times

and that's the issue with the team right there.

It's bound to die eventually.

And when it does you can hold the funeral. Until then, why not enjoy the ride?

And ignore the obvious issues on the way and be completely oblivious?

I didn't say you couldn't be critical. I'm just saying that if they're lucky or playing out of their heads, just enjoy it.

I literally have been pumping their tires, especially Mookie's all year.

Fair, however if three straight ALDS exits are the result, it is time for change.

Wow. Brock Holt. Who cares if it was off Romine.
First cycle in post season history.  And the homer wasn't a cheapy.

Eovaldi did a very nice job tonight.  He threw strikes all night and let the fielders play.

Ok after sleeping on it I'm still proud of the dodgers
This season was hard

13 nlcs appearances ties the cards for most ever. Ive seen 08,09,13,16,17,and now 18. thats 6 times i have gotten to watch my team play for the Series. Very lucky

It wont last forever. Id love to watch the boys in another fall classic. Brewers are very scary and should be favorites though
