Youre right. One of the best pieces of advice Ive ever heard regarding the NBA is to never take leaks at face value, always consider who benefits from that info being leaked. AD has even said they have not given anyone a list of preferred destinations. That report very likely came from a team like LA or NY, who knows that their strongest competition for AD cant trade for him right now.

It's like Im actually bringing good info to this board or something. But don't worry, tomorrow Klutch, the Lakers, or the Knicks will try something new and certain people on this site are going to do exactly what I said not to do a few hours ago and take it at face value. Maybe now we can have realistic discussions rather than talking about which ridiculous package the Pelicsns should take from the Lakers or how the Celtics will be scared off from AD because Kyrie Irving may run to some dysfunctional franchise and play with a bunch of nobodies and win 30 games a year.
