times have changed

OKC gets Boston/Lakers back to back, and they were licking their chops. no big deal. easy street

and as much as i hate on Kobe, unlike years past with other players, seeing Harden chew him out was sad. nothing kobe can do anymore :(

Damn, the Knicks didnt play very well. PG play wasnt very good and way too many turnovers and that will kill you against the Heat because they love to run. At least we get the Cavs after the break and then the Celtics. Time for some revenge.

Kobe said the other day that Russell Westbrook reminds him of him, and watching Russell on Thursday and Sunday, I really saw some Kobe in him more than I've ever seen before.

so I decided to look up the numbers just now
Kobe and Russell's 4th year are eerily similar

year 4 for both guys:
Kobe: 17.9 FGA. 46%. 31% 3P. 82%FT. 1.6 steals. 23/6/5ast
Russ: 18.9 FGA. 47%. 30.5% 3P. 81%FT. 1.9 steals. 24/5/6ast

Kobe played 66 games that year. Russell hasn't missed a game in his career which means he too is on course to play 66 games

cool isn't it?

That's a good find.

I love the intensity that Russell plays with - it's one of those qualities you can't quantify.

Upset call of the night:

Cavs beat the Celtics, Kyrie continues his hot 3pt shooting and scores 30 on the C's FTW.

How has Lance Thomas been for the Hornets nola?
Surprisingly solid. They just signed him for the rest of the season.

He's really coachable, and is surprisingly effective around the rim because of his quickness and hustle. His motor is nonstop, sometimes it's a little too fast an gets him in trouble lol

I'm sure he really needs the money.

the injury risk isn't worth $1M when you're in the championship hunt.

Yeah, he's always had those qualities at Duke. I just wasn't sure he would be able to make it in the league because he's an undersized PF. I'm so happy to hear he's doing well though.

now we have to give them a million dollars to dunk three times for us. people that already get paid insane amounts of money for playing a game

how big a difference would 1M make to LeBron anways? It's not like he could finally afford something with that million that he couldn't before.
