Woj saying Pels want youth/picks/cap relief and a player who can one day become an all-NBA player.
Sounds like they are wondering if Ball, Ingram, Kuzma...etc would ever become that.
Lakers are getting more serious but I am willing to bet they are still lowballing a tad.
Offer Ingram, Ball, Kuzma + Zubac + picks. Done deal.
Woj reporting that the Lakers and Pelicans aren't close to a deal.
Shams Charania: Anthony Davis’ representatives have informed the Pelicans that he would sign long-term with the Lakers, Knicks, Bucks and Clippers if he is traded, league sources tell @TheAthleticNBA.

If you are the Grizzlies, and are trading Conley what do you do:
Option A: Rubio + Favors + Jazz 2019 pick + Tony Bradley or some throw in (Rubio & Favors are expiring)
Option B: Reggie Jackson + Pistons 2019 pick + Jon Leuer + Stanley Johnson
Well I don't have a vote so it doesn't really mean anything haha.
And if I was NBA media and had a vote, i'd obviously do whats right and vote for him.
And yeah Harden deserves it this year. I don't like all his tactics but I feel thats more on refs then him.
I wouldn't give Kobe the MVP if he had a 9 game stretch scoring 100. I hate Kobe, always have haha. He'd never get my vote haha. He's great of course but I hate.
Kobe was just a complete chucker that year with 35. He probably almost averaged 35 shots a game at that time too.
And yeah scoring has become the league. If someone averaged 35ppg now, with 0 apg 0 rpg 0 spg...etc they'd still win.
