Well IMO it would take more than that. It would also involve your pick and you would probably get a pick no higher than 10th and some contracts to match the trade.
Ehh with the low activity we have now it sure would, lol. We'd just need to advertise it and send a site-wide e-mail to get some already joined members interested.
Coming from a Pistons fan :o! I sure hope so. All we need is a good player in the draft, a defensive minded C who can rebound (I'm hoping for Diop) and a good PG (be it from the draft or otherwise).
Yep that's probably the only way I'd accept anyone other than Rose/Beasley to be picked. If we get 2 players (a pick and a veteran like Brand) for the price of one (heck throw in Haslem). But, like I said, WAY too many scenarios and thoughts out there. I will just wait and laugh at everything I...
Mayo would be a horrible PG and it's probably just a smokescreen. Like I said before in this thread, anything I hear about the Heat I know is just rumors thrown out to help Riley and I won't believe anything until Draft Night.
We could co-run it. I've seen it done on another site so I know what we basically need. Plus, I would add rules such as only being able to trade on draft night and after free agency, also, during free agency but only through sign-and-trades. That way, our job is much easier and people will be...
Well the reason they are not active is because the commissioners have computer problems. If the commissioner doesn't keep the league going it will die. So, with the Mock Offseason trading would only be regulated to a certain period of time and the commissioner would be active.
I think Trivia should be done in a separate topic. The online chat would just take away from posting in the CT and making the site active.
As for my ideas, I was thinking why not have a "Mock offseason" for the NBA. Might be a little too much to handle, but if someone has the time and everyone...
Well it looks like I'm going with my latter prediction. I knew this was going to be lobsided on one side, just didn't know which. I say, Celtics in 7 now that they have homecourt back. Great job and if they can keep it close in Game 4 and lose by no more than 5, they would be doing well. If they...
I think that tonights game will determine how the Celtics do in the series. If they lose, they're done in the series, maybe win Game 5 at home but that's it. If they win, then I could see them winning this in 6 or 7.
Dwight is naturally a PF, just like when Duncan spent a bit of time a season or 2 ago playing C, Howard will go back to PF. But, for now, I'll leave him off the list
1. Kevin Garnett
2. Tim Duncan
3. Amare Stoudemire (there because Shaq is C)
4. Dirk Nowitzki
5. Chris Bosh
See that's why. The Timberwolves denied they were trying to trade KG for a while and look what happened. And, they don't get any info from GM's, they get them from assistants in the front office that leak it anonymously.
GM's always say that, it gives them leeway with other teams and doesn't compromise the trade. When was the last time a GM came out and said "I'm trading with this team for these players." Just doesn't happen.

IMO, LeBron and the Cavs could really use the trade. And that might just be enough for him. Hopefully for LeBron, they can pull something off.
