Mike Leach accused Mangini of killing Crabtree's draft stock by calling him a diva.
Also Michael Crabtree didn't have elite speed and was dealing with a foot injury so he couldn't run the 40.

Also, more talent and needy teams at positions other than WRs were picking in the top 10.. (Much like this year).

I mean go look it up.

Michael Crabtree and Justin Blackmon have very similar builds, not very fast, both catch the ball more with their body. Near same college stats.. coming out the near same type of system.

Crabtree was no where near what Blackmon does after the catch though.
I don't even overrated him, you just underrated him. Every other draft guys have him top 5.

Who cares what other draft guys have em as? They arent even real scouts and pull no weight. Their opinions are just as good as mine.

I buy it. Blackmon has been overhyped. RT @AdamBCC 2 pretty smart people tell me there isn't a WR the Jaguars would take with a top 10 pick.

Couple days ago you were drooling over Blackmon, what happened between the last few days?
I was never drooling over Blackmon. I want him, yes. But hes overrated by many. He won't go top 5 and will be a "possibility" in bottom half of the top 10.

I never said 1 or 2 top 5 WRs.

When I said Top 5 I meant TOP 5 FA WRs..

Once again, dumbfuck.

And nobody said he was Calvin, therefore you said it.

Yeah, never heard anyone say he's Calvin. All I've heard is he's a better prospect than Dez, but lesser than AJ Green.
WR's are so underrated. Look at the Giants and the Packers. Their QB's are great, but the WR's make them better. There's something to having 2-3 top WR's. IDK Kam why you say too much other talent and needs. I could maybe see the needs, but not the talent statement. This class is weak at the top, but real deep, especially offensively. Some team is going to draft BPA, and it'll be Blackmon. I could easily see him going at 4 and 5. I also could see him falling, but I don't think he should. I'd take him over Claiborne if WR and CB were my needs.

For the sake of discussion, lets look at picks 4 and 5.

4 - Browns. If they don't get RG3, they'll most likely look at Richardson and Blackmon. With Hillis most likely gone, but having no threats at WR, they could go either way. If it's St. Louis, they would have missed out on Kalil and would then take Blackmon.

5 - If the Browns keep 4, whoever than Browns don't take, the Bucs take. They could use Richardson or Blackmon. IMO it's whoever is there. I'm probably the only one, but I feel Claiborne's value doesn't fit here. I'd take him 7-10.

When it's all said and done, I think the Jags end up with Claiborne.

I see the Jags with either Claiborne or Blackmon.. It'll come down to the 2.

Claiborne is the better player though. Revis like.
