I'm still just waiting to see if Jabari will go.

I think his status as a top 3 pick is enough of a reason to say he goes.

But it's not like he is desperate, this is a tricky one. I just wonder when he will make his announcement.

Jon Horford is transferring from Michigan. I think this might be relevant to this thread because I think it might be a signal that Mitch McGary is going to return to Ann Arbor. If McGary were to declare and with Jordan Morgan graduated, there would be endless amounts of playing time for Horford next year. But that's not the case if McGary comes back.

I've always thought McGary was overrated as a draft prospect. He's extremely old for his class and I think his stock only received that initial boost after a good five game stretch in the 2013 tournament. I don't think he's a first round pick, which I guess is another good reason for him to return.
That might be the case.
But I also think the fact big men don't really play a role in Beilein's offense has a factor in it. All he and Morgan were asked to do was rebound and defend. Mitch was kind of the same way, he scored mostly on garbage type plays. I think he believes he can do more than that if he is given the opportunity. Which he probably can't lol.

Yeah a lot of fans on Duke forums are clamoring for us to pursue him based on our lack of a big this past season but I don't want him at all. You're dead on about Beilien's offense, I can't remember a big ever being truly featured. Even guys like Kevin Pittsnogle at WVU when he coached there were more of stretch bigs than true low post guys.

Exactly. But I still don't really think he has the talent level to be featured in any offense.

I'm more surprised at WCS staying. UK's front court is going to be absolutely loaded next year

And he would be a lotto pick, #2 C taken. Might not even be a top 5 C next year

Where did you see Mitch leaving?

Nik and Robinson are having their joint press conference but Mitch isn't with them. Which probably suggests that Mitch will stay.

Still puzzling as to why he didn't come out last year. Everyone saw the drop coming, except him and his coaching staff apparently.

6'10 center with no post game, no mid range shot, horrible FT shooter, doesn't play above the rim because of a lack of leaping ability. It's astonishing people had him as a lottery pick, even more astonishing he didn't declare.

Tyler Hansbrough was a lottery pick.
