To be honest, I had Wilt at #1 before I read what Yankees said in this thread. But after seeing all his posts, I agree 100% with what he has said.

Was a toss up for me.
Mikan ultimately made the center position what it is today though.

I'm not entirely sure about that list. If you are considering them based on defensive abilities, I'm skeptical.

• Brad Miller had size, but wasn't athletic enough to be considered a top-tier defender now or in the future
• Eddy Curry was not on the court enough to allow me to draw a conclusion
• Horace Grant actually played with Shaquille a majority of his career
• Yao has been in the league for 7 years? Played 3 years against productive Shaq before both players fell off
• Divac was a good defender, however far from historic and with a different toolset not conducive to guarding him

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that was a sarcastic list. At least I took it that way when I saw Eddy Curry on it. LOL
