Obviously hindsight is 20/20 and all.
Hypothetical: If the New Orleans Hornets knew the production the members of the 2012 NBA Draft would get, would they have drafted Damian Lillard over Anthony Davis?
Remember, the Hornets had two picks, where with the second, they foolishly picked Austin Rivers. By picking Lillard, Hornets could have picked up a big like Henson or Sullinger instead, or decided to go for a BPA type player.
The Hornets are on pace for another Top 5 pick in the NBA Draft, with a need at PG. But the 2013 is not PG strong, at all. 2013 is big man strong, however, with Zeller, Len, Noel, and Austin being viable bigmen who could go Top 10.
Obviously drafting Anthony Davis wasn't a bad decision. He's a stud, and will be very good in the future as well. But Damian is looking pretty damn fine as well
