I read the Pels have to send out 6M in salary before the moratorium ends but I'm not sure how true that is.

Al Horford
Al Jefferson
Joakim Noah
DeAndre Jordan
Marc Gasol
DeMarcus Cousins
Tyson Chandler
Chris Bosh (if he counts)
Brook Lopez
Roy Hibbert
Andre Drummond
Dwight Howard
Nikola Pekovic
Andrew Bogut
Marcin Gortat

Can't wait to hear BWare argue this list haha

That's 15 centers btw. Only guy I think you could argue Asik over on there is Chandler and then you can take Bosh off if you really don't want him at the center

Bosh doesn't count. Andrew Bogut is never healthy. Marcin Gortat, Pekovic, and Hibbert are not definitively better than Asik. That puts Asik at 10.

There's a few guys I'd take him over on that list, but only a few.

But I've always argued fit and you can't beat this fit. Exactly what we needed at center.

Brook Lopez is never healthy, either.

Let's talk about players who are going to suit up for most of 82.

In today's league Asik is more than above average. I'd argue top 10.
Considering Duncan, Cousins, Jefferson, Dwight, Marc Gasol, Favors, Drummond, Noah, & DAJ are 9 guys who are better, and fighting for the 10th spot would be him, Hibbert, Valancuinas, Gortat, both Lopez', Pau & Varejao, I'd say your argument is wrong

Marcin Gortat is absolutely better, Roy Hibbert is an All-Star, and Pekovic is better too. You're just narrow-minded.

I guess I could give you Bogut though

Hibbert may be an All-Star but what's really separating the two? That's a question lol

Ill have to do the research tomorrow.

Roy Hibbert has a far more diverse offensive game. Asik is almost unplayable in fourth quarters because of the fouling rules although he has improved. Asik is a better rebounder but that's about it?

Hibbert is a far better rim protector.

When Hibbert is mentally focused (aka 2013 playoffs and 1st half of 2013-14 season), he's a Top 5 scoring C. His shotblocking and rebounding is also really good as well.

He lost complete focus this second half of the year, because Vogel isnt a verbal coach and I think Paul George banged his girl, but when in focus, Hibbert is far superior offensively

Ok, Pels have to free $8.3M by July 10th. But that's not the real dollar amount because they're yet to give up the rights to a couple guys (Jason Smith, Anthony Morrow, Al-Farouq Aminu for example). They won't have any problem getting there.
