To be honest, I figured there'd be major backlash if I withheld Duncan from the list, so I put him there.

Pau has done nothing of note this season. Nothing that puts him in an elite class. He's soft both physically and mentally. I'm not interested in the last 2-3 years of his career.

I think that Pau >>>> Lowry. But at the same time, don't really see the Rockets going anywhere with Pau. They should look for a younger piece if possible. If the Rockets were a piece away though, Pau for Lowry would be a no brainer.

You hit the nail on the head. Unless you're one player away from a title, you don't trade a developing asset for a player at the end of his career.

More importantly the Rockets do have Goran Dragic so it's not like they can't afford to give away Lowry. If they get Gasol they're a playoff team easily next year.
