Taller pitchers usually throw with more ease then the smaller guys, puts lesser wear and tear on the arm and they can last longer. That has a lot to do with it..

I never said they are higher, but I'd assume a guy in Double A with a high 90s fastball would be striking out more guys.

The thing I read said that his height isn't of concern when considering how hard he throws because he has a really strong lower half and a smooth, mechanically sound delivery.

Obviously no pitcher is immune to injury, but he's not forcing the velocity.

Well I guess we'll see when they make the big leagues..

But anyway, on the main topic, even after all of that, I doubt the Indians trade for Jimenez. Even though I'd gladly give up a high potential starter like Alex White/Pomeranz and a few other guys.
