You can call me a redneck or whatever else a NASCAR fan might be called but I still love the sport. I really don't think people hate it as much as it may seem. Theirs 150,000 attending races for sakes. I mean come on.

its not a sport its a way of life... im more passionate for nascar than any other sport..
if ur not a fan of the sport its becuz u dont understand it...pick a driver similar to you in personality and then watch him race and when ur driver is battling for the win ull see what i mean by exciting

to each his own - but to say Nascar isn't the same - I mean, they do drive around in an oval for hours on end.. LOL. and most people watch for the crashes, not the finishes LOL... i could go on, but I'm just pickin'/playin'

I prefer human contact sports, myself..

I live in Houston, and I have friends who are diehard fans, too. It's just that there's always a "redneck" connotation with Nascar. Always has been. and probably always will be. Not saying that's a bad thing, though.

Unfortunately, there's not too many Nascar fans on the site that I know of.. maybe you'll start 'em up...
