And you're a homer.

Derrick Rose is the best PG in the NBA. He won MVP for a reason. He's still in the playoffs for a reason.

And im a damn Celtics fan.
He won MVP because he put up flashy numbers. He doesn't have the impact on the game that CP and Deron do. Don't buy into the Rose hype.

Going to say CP3 here. When this debate comes up I always look at every aspect of each players' games. They are even in everything but defense, where Paul blows away Williams. That's the reason that Chris Paul gets my vote.

Derrick Rose is a rich man's Devin Harris. He is a glorified chucker who makes no one on his team a better player.

Paul and Williams are much better "point guards" because they aren't ball-stoppers. These two create easy scoring opportunities for their respective teams.

^then according to your reasoning, Rondo is the best point guard because he creates shots for his teammates better than anyone other PG in the NBA

and even if, Paul>Deron

Rose is a chucker. 37% from the field in the playoffs, and only 36% tonight.

For the record, Rondo would be nothing without the big three.

He is an assist-chaser with an overall limited offensive game, no jumper, and a putrid FT shooter.

I remember a game against us this year, where he gave the ball back to Allen on a two on nothing fast break.

Rose shoots a terrible percentage from the field, and doesn't make the same effort to involve his teammates.

To the actual debate;

You couldn't go wrong with either one, but I'll take the more durable DWill.

Big fan of both of these guys.. Very good natural players at their position. I just like CP3 better.

If both are 100% healthy...gotta go Paul. He gets quite a few rebounds for a PG, and he gets lots of steals. He still can score, and distribute the ball.

I've always been a CP3 guy. He gets my vote for sure.
