The Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls had recent trade discussions that included Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks for Ben Gordon, Larry Hughes and Joakim Noah, according to Yahoo! Sports.

Gordon is an unsigned restricted free agent, and Noah was only a possibilty in the deal.

The talks have died over the last week or so, and right now, they don't appear to have rekindled.
That would have made the Heat legit contendors same with the Bulls. I really don't know why either team would have turned it down.

Wow that'd be a great deal for both teams. But where would Gordon play SF? Or would Wade be SF? Since Beasley would be PF, and Zo would be Center

Gorodn would be 6th manm like he wants too.

Hughes
Wade
Beasley
Noah
Zo

That could work, and then they could look into signing someone like Bonzi Wells to play backup SF or start there and have Beasley at SF.

Yeah, but I was thinking they would do:

Chalmers
Wade
Beasley
Noah
Zo

instead, and then Gordon and Hughes off the bench

Or they can play Wade at PG, he can do that but he will have more turnovers.

Wade
Gordon/Hughes
Beasley
Zoah
Zo

Thats a really ugly roster right there. Id move Gordon and Hirich together somehow to get Marion. It would be better for both parties then moving Hughes, Noah and Gordon. Miami is stacking the SG position.

Miami like this:

C- Jamaal Magloire
PF - Udonis Haslem
SF - Michael Beasley
SG - Dwayne Wade
PG - Kirk Hinrich
6 - Ben Gordon

Chicago:
PG - Derrick Rose
SG - Larry Hughes
SF - Luol Deng
PF - Drew Gooden
C - Joakim Noah

Really addresses Miami issue and brings in some youth. I just think that the deal looks abit ridiculous in what Chicago is giving.

you forgot to add Shawn Marion. him and Luol Deng could both play SF/PF

I forgot about Udonis and Magloire.
But there'd be 0 chance of the Heat getting Hinrich and Ben. Chicago knows that they would be giving Miami a free pass the playoffs for the next 6,7 years while they would still be looking to get better.

That would have been a beast of a trade. The Heat would have been a top team for sure while actually giving the bulls a chance to do something :p

interesting.. not sure why the Heat would want to trade Marion unless they don't think him and Beasley can co-exist.. and Noah is overvalued IMO

Horrible deal for the Bulls. I would want Pax fired if he pulled off this trade.

The bulls need somebody of star quality. ben gordon says he wont play for the bulls and the bulls still would have noicioni and deng, with hopefully rose being a star in a few years, this could make the bulls a top team in the east, a few years from now.

This trade would help them(Bulls), think of this.. Marion is a 18Mill expiring. Plus he can get 20-24 12-15 rebs and 2 blocks 2 steals. He'll help a ton.

I must be the only one, but I wouldn't do this from the Heat side. Marion can help Beasley out in the frontcourt. Gordon would come off the bench and steal shots from Wade and is sorta a Wade-like player. I wouldn't see Gordon and Wade playing that good together. The Heat should keep Marion.
