We will be starting our 3rd annual SI player rankings. The first year we did this it sparked great debate, I'm hoping to get back to that this year. Unfortunately last year I did not finish the rankings for whatever reason, but this year we need to all make it a goal to finish them. We'll be going 10 deep this year.

Remember these two things, please vote on the polls and vote for the best player, don't be a homer. I will leave the polls open at my own discretion. Most will be open 24 hours, but if there is one where it's a clear runaway then there is no point in delaying the voting.

Remember, this is based on who is currently the best player, not who has the potential to be the best.

Dwight didn't have an incredible season, but he came of a serious surgery and was visibly less effective because of it. Of course if we're judging by last season, which we should, then Gasol or Duncan are reasonable choices. But y'all voted in Kevin Love as well, so I don't care. Dwight.

Also, the Mike D'Antoni offense is awful if you are a big man who can't run faster than a guard

Dwight's numbers not healthy we're still better than an unhealthy Noah.

I mean 17,12,2 is still better than any center in the league and that is unhealthy and clearly uncomfortable in LA.

If you wanna call him top 3 so be it. But I can't see any conceivable way he is higher than Dwight.

I've said it before, Dwight isn't nearly what he used to be. I don't see how anyone can say he's still the top center in the league after what he has done the last two years.
