Yeah Im really not surprised by it anymore. Starters need to go 7 and we need a 3+ run lead every night

Lol but seriously if you watched this bullpen, you would understand. I think there's triple A teams with pens just as strong.

2nd time this year that replay has screwed the Astros. I thought the Oakland one was bad. This one was way more clear. I guess MLB cant have the marquee team getting swept at home.

Who's gonna win NL MVP? It looks like it's completely wide open.

The Oakland A's are 4.5 games clear of the best team in the NL......yet they are currently the 2nd wild card team in the AL....Thats crazy. The NL is so down right now.

To be fair, the NL is a lot more competitive. It doesnt have the same amount of easy wins as the AL does.

With the justified emphasis on spin rate, it does make sense

Not only are they balanced in the NL, this is one of the very rare years where they have a better record head to head than the AL.

the NL is 139-126 in interleague play

I hear ya. I buy that if they played in the Central Division, but 3 of the 4 other teams in their division have been .500 or better all year long. They play half their games in that division. How the Indians dont have 100 wins by now is beyond me. They have 3 teams in theri division that will lose 90+ games and the other will lose 85+ most likely.

The NL is more balanced, but the 4 or 5 best teams in the league right now reside in the AL. Boston, Houston, Oakland, Cleveland and the Yankees all would be favored in the WS no matter the opponent. It is just interesting how different the leagues are right now.
