I don't really care that much.

I just like to remind people of the Rockies, the forgotten NL West team. Especially Mexi.

I'm an adult and my friends still refer to each other as terms that would be very derogatory toward gays.

That... and the Rockies are GOOD.

Rockies should go hard after him honestly. Talking from a pure baseball fan perspective

Harper will be expensive, even for a 2 month rental.  The Nationals are going to want a pitcher or 2 and an infielder.

Would be absolutely hilarious to me if the nationals ended up dealing Bryce at the deadline of an all or nothing year haha

Any other player who put up his production but didn't have the name Bryce Harper would be great for the Indians, but his name alone puts too high a premium on him as a rental

He's a .220 hitter. I expect the average to rise, but he's hitting .220. I agree he will be expensive, but it's ridiculous if you ask me.

Orioles aren't cursed, they're just not very good. Even on the years they won the division recently it was because of homerun hitters and a lot of luck. They won a lot of games with a negative run differential.

stop looking at batting average, it's not even a useful stat anymore

.4 WAR this year. That's less than Jackie Bradley's 1.2 WAR and Bradley's hitting .214. Yeah Harper's real good this year. Let's bust our farm trying to get a player who wins us less than a game.

If rather pay him more than lose the farm. He's the real deal but not consistently. He draws walks but that's it.

I would love to get Adrian Beltre via trade. Perfect for for Red Sox with Devers in question.

They were consistently a good team from 2012-2016. 2017 the wheels fell off in September. 2018 nobody expected them to be THIS bad. It was supposed to be one final playoff push before most of the core departed. You dont make the playoffs out of the toughest division in baseball 3 out of 5 years based on luck. Hell they won the division by 12 games in 2014.

They were a decent team but I believe luck was involved. Even at their best, however, they didn't have an edge to put them over. Like the A's they had a lot of low average hitting guys who raked homeruns. That hitting strategy is limited when playing tough teams.
