your Turner hate is so weird

1. Batting average doesn't matter

2. He broke his wrist on the last day of spring

3. Since June 1 he's hitting .280/.387/.440. That's a .827 OPS

His last 5 years OPS

.897
.861
.832
.945

Just gotta come to grips that he's really good dude
I like Turner, he's a solid player, but one of the huge reasons the Dodgers won so much last year was that Turner played way over his head. Most Dodgers fans don't consider this.

He was like 1.3 ish wins better than his average from the past three seasons.

lol if they rejected Verdugo

Dude just hits and has a gun in the outfield.
I don't want him gone tbh

Sounds like the dodgers are trying to take advantage of the Orioles

I don't want Machado anyway. Good player, but way overrated, especially for just half a season. Orioles screwed themselves big time by not trading him.

Machado hasn't hit more than .300 in a single season, so unless this is his time to turn things around and become a big boy hitter, his average will dip over the next couple of months.

The only difference with those (aside from Murphy) is that they hit 30+ homeruns a season... When did Turner ever do that?

Blackmon had a similar Turner-like season last year. I expect him to get better throughout this season but be nowhere near 2017 numbers. Again, an anomaly.

Turner isnt a 30 hr guy. And we dont need him to be

Hes a spray hitter and at bat grinder. Makes pitchers throw a lot of pitches and if it wasnt for nolan would have 2 or 3 gold gloves

the dodgers tell their minor leaguers that they dont even look at batting average

Organizational philosophy. From the low minors to the big club

It's pretty sad when Brandon Crawford has more WAR this season than Manny Machado and has had more WAR in the past four years. Machado is a career .280 hitter with an OBP of .330.

If he comes to the Sox, he'll end up like another Carl Crawford, a guy who has a few career years mixed in with a bunch of shoddy seasons.

I never once said the guy was a bad hitter. I just don't think he's as supernatural as you say he is. He won't save the Dodger's season on his own.
