Portland just traded Allen Crabbe to the Nets for Andrew Nicholson

That means one of two things:

1. It's just a financial deal, as it lessens the luxury tax bill by about $40M
2. The Blazers plan on using the $12,969,502 exception that came with the deal in a deal for Carmelo

-----

Rockets send: Eric Gordon, Trevor Ariza, Taylor/Quarterman/Uthoff/Long
Rockets receive: Carmelo Anthony

Knicks send: Carmelo Anthony
Knicks receive: Trevor Ariza, Taylor/Uthoff/Long, draft picks

Blazers send: $12.9M TPE
Blazers receive: Eric Gordon

They lose only one major bench piece though...

Theyd still have Tucker, Nene, Tarik Black, and Luc, which is just fine for a 9 man rotation

just means Crabbe wasn't worth that contract and the Nets still have a hard-on for him.

houston has four non guaranteed contracts

one will be in the deal as a salary filler, and then cut by the knicks

No jokes around here
CC and I are the only ones who stuck with Kyrie through thick and thin, while 90% of the forum called him a career loser.

I don't disparage my guy
