His shoulder pads are high too.
AwesomeKeenan Lewis has spent only two days on a New Orleans Saints practice field with first-round draft pick Brandin Cooks and already has a nickname for the speedy receiver.
"I called him 'lightning,'" Lewis said Friday. "A (defensive back) might be in his back pocket and the next thing you know he's 50, 60 yards down the field."
That's pretty much what happened on one play during an OTA practice Thursday.
Cooks took a handoff on a reverse around the left end and raced down the sideline. With Lewis giving chase, Cooks appeared to pull up for a few strides to playfully let his pursuer near him. Then Cooks sprinted away from Lewis and to the end zone.

Strangely, that wasn’t the only moment that McCoy’s real life sounded like a Seinfeld episode on Monday. Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News passes along word that McCoy spent all of Monday referring to rookie quarterback Matt Barkley as Mark. It wasn’t some kind of rookie hazing. McCoy admitted that he thought Barkley’s first name actually was Mark and that Barkley “never said anything” during practice.
that is one square jersey lolbosoxlover12 said:
