I hope Derrick Rose goes all TMac and never wins another playoff series. Not after what he did to his teammates last year.

I was as frustrated with Rose as anyone, but from the looks of it, he made the right decision. If he didn't trust his knee last year, he wouldn't have had the same aggression, and he wouldn't have been worth a damn. He'd be hurting his teammates more by playing at 50% than he was by not playing at all.

His knee was fine. He was being an absolute sissy. We all know this.

What am I missing here?

His teammates were overperforming and with him, they could have challenge Miami. But no. He's "not ready" even though he's been cleared for ages. The guy was being a fucking baby. if AP can come back from a worse injury in 8 months, Rose could have come back in a year. Yes, people are different, but not that different. Especially people with top flight medical care at their disposal. The guy abandoned his teammates even though their play was practically begging him to just suit up and aid their cause.

You regain the mental edge by suiting up for that first game or two.

Which is why he was a puss not to get out there. There has never been an athlete to come back from a major injury not to experience some distrust in his body.

i think when he was finally cleared to play and still wanted to wait the pressure got too much to handle and he took the "easy" way out. he still has more pressure than ever but he did what he felt was right, no matter how wrong it was.

Playing timid would not have helped the Bulls at all in the playoffs.
