2008 Playoffs Thread

titans over ravens (gonna be a tight game, fun to watch to if you like defense)

Hopefully the Panthers will take the NFC but im glad Big Ben will be able to play in sundays game against the Chargers it should be a great game especially with the momentum that the Chargers have.

I just can't look at the Eagles after not dominating the Vikings more, and think they are like the Giants of last year. I think there were a lot of reasons to have a little doubt that the Eagles can pull off a Giants run Also - they don't have the chip on their shoulder - nor did they go down to the wire on the last game of the season with an undefeated team to launch them into confidence over-drive. Lots of variables made last year's Giants special - this years Eagles have a few of those key parts - but not even close to what the Giants had.

and this isn't a knock against your point, but you are a fan of the Giants, and you hate the Eagles, so of course you won't think they can be a Cinderella like the Giants are.

But from an outsiders perspective they remind me a lot of the Giants from last year

A big part of this 2nd half is how the Cardinals handle success. They need to go for the throat type of mentality and put this game away with a nice running drive.
