This isn't a mock that many will agree with. I tried to push the envelope a bit for the sake of argument. Also, don't pay too much attention to the write ups. It took me so long to get the template set up, and getting the picks in place that I just half-assed the little blurbs. I also have a second round finished that I'm just going to post.

I actually really like the Packers taking Ingram, that could really help their run game. But with what's his face coming back from injury, they might want to see what he can still do.

I'd certainly be happy with Taylor, but I don't think Pouha did that bad of a job that we'd have to take a DT

True, but Ryan Grant is 28 coming off of a pretty big injury. He was only slightly above average when healthy anyway.

I am not exactly sold on Marvin Austin, but wicked pick with Sherrod for the Colts in the first.

As for the mock, I can't see Seattle passing on Ponder or even Dalton for Mallett. Mallett just doesn't fit the scheme, and even when Mallett is on his game, he's bi-polar. One throw amazes, the next is like, WTF is he thinking.

Seattle will not take Dalton in the first round. Ponder, yes, if he is there, will go over Mallett, I agree, but Dalton doesn't have enough of the physical tools that get you slotted in the first round.

He'll go in the 2nd-3rd area, and that's a good value area for him.

I know Dalton won't go there, but that's how much I think Mallett won't go there lol.
EDIT
Although Dalton is rising. Don't be suprised to see him at the end of the first.
I've read about 4 reports (NOT including Trent Dilfer) that say teams are high on him, and he could slip into the first. I've read the same for Kaepernick.

Job well done. Carimi would fit in nicely here.

I'd rather start Jordan Palmer than draft Cam Newton.... The Newton pick really scares me..... And no, I don't really want Jordan to be our starting QB. I'd rather take A.J. Green in the first then hopefully get Ponder in the second.

because he didnt say they would take whichever player they were higher on or anything.
It's pretty clear they'd be higher on the much better prospect, AJ Green. A 40 time isn't going to put Julio into the top 6, and definitely not ahead of AJ.

I don't personally think Julio is better. But like I said in my first post, this is mainly for arguments sake... nothing to take too serious.

Anyone who thinks Julio is better has a huge boner for the Combine, and should watch some game film.

IDC what this mock says, Ponder won't be in the 2nd round.
