Yeah, but Jeffries isn't. :D

We're giving up our 2012 pick, and swap of 2011 with Houston. It doesn;t matter with my logic:

If we get LeBron and his choice of sidekick - our pick those years won't be that great at all, and thus a good move.

If we don't get LeBron and co, we've ###### ourselves so much these past few years and this year that it won't even matter because we'd already be disbanded by 2011/12.
Knicks aren't getting Lebron.. Maybe 2 second tier players.

It'd be sick if Amare came to Sac next year for some reason.

Stop hating cheato, just hope we dont get LeBron.

I would be happy with Joe Johnson and Amare, or Bosh and JJ. Somebodies gonna opt out this year everyone wont re-sign.

I think T-mac will do fine in houston. Sergio should be a capable backup pg.

This isn't Baseball and the Yankees, no player is going to jump up and down at the aspect of playing for a Knicks team that hasn't been relevant for years.

NY is the world's best market, and playing here would boost him so high - even if he's already the #1 marketed person in the world.

He's going to be given the chance to rebuild a franchise, and hand-pick an all star of his choosing. That's a big step up from the overpaid mediocre players they've been forcing down his throat.

Why would he want to rebuild a franchise? He's already done that. And lol at calling players we have overpaid and mediocre, you realize you're predicting he goes to the Knicks?

Market size will not decide where LeBron goes, he makes more then anyone in the NBA and always will until he retires.

There is nothing like playing in NY - ask CC and the crew... and they play in the Bronx, whereas LeBron will play in Manhattan.

I'm saying that Shaq, an old, digressing player was sold to him as a star, and that he would be his sidekick. Now Jamison? Sure, Jamison is a good player but he too is no all star - hell, he was probably the 3rd best player on that Washington team before Butler deal and Arenas injury/gun thing.

He's not going to give away the opportunity to play in NY and essentially handpick his co-superstar.

The Knicks aren't the Yankees.. Like I said, people jump up for the Yankees, they want to play for them. People say the Knicks are a historic franchise, but they're not, they just play in New York.

Shaq isn't in future plans, obviously only this year which is why we traded nothing for him.. And Jamison is still better then any player on the Knicks so I don't see where you're going with this.

Keep dreaming though..

Jamison is better than the 2nd player we will max out for LeBron? Really? I think you're idiocy summarizes my point very well. No more arguing for me.

I said he is better then anyone on the Knicks, but I'm sure I said any possible player they could get. Learn to read idiot. Not sure why you want LeBron anyway, shouldn't you want a white player instead?

Way to go, kid. Looks like somebody lost a debate and went to attack me. I guess I'll put that one in the win column. When you're ready to grow up and either a) face reality or b) learn to actually have a debate, let me know.

Lol at you guys taking a sports debate personal. I actually wouldn't mind seeing LeBron in New York, but it would be funny to see them fail this upcoming off-season.

idiocracy = Peculiarity of constitution; that temperament, or state of constitution, which is peculiar to a person; idiosyncrasy.

does not mean you're an idiot, means the statement made is idiotic.

please try to refrain from personal attack guys -- you had a great discussion/debate going.

as my 2 cents - LeBron has it GREAT in Cleveland. For him to leave ANYWHERE is an idiocracy. they're doing whatever they can to show him they're wanting a championship -- they went and got Mo, kept the Latin-fro, and then got good supplements in Shaq and Twan.

who's to say the Cavs won't make their own run at a 2nd tier player like David Lee next year? now, THAT would be interesting!!

to go to New York, players also have to adjust to D'Antoni's system. That, to me, is a little far fetched from players used to being the star of the team..

just my 2 cents worth

I doubt LeBron would leave Cleveland (the team who is again the favorite to win it this year) if they do deliver this year (which they likely will) for the perennial NBA powers in the Clippers or the Knicks.
