Yes I finally did it!!!

I got my instrument pilot rating today. A years worth of work and hours upon hours of studying have finally paid off. Basically I can fly in low visibilty weather and low cloud ceilings using the navigation systems inside the aircraft. The oral portion of the exam was on tuesday, the flight portion on wednesday, and now today the sim which I passed as well.

Thats me checking the fuel tanks before a flight and the other is me flying and my father took a picture of the daytona beach shoreline.

Congrats on your huge accomplishment! My friend is getting into this and I've always thought he was crazy. Airplanes are not my thing. Anyways, lots of time and work put into it and now look where your at! It's always good to know I know someone though so I can get to say Florida for free. lol j/k. Congrats.

I really wish I could of became a pilot in life. Since I was a kid I had dreamed of being able to fly choppers. Being partially color blind has kept me from being able to do it in the military.

But quite an accomplishment for you.
