I don't know if they did it off best 2nd year players or just random ones.

I really like McCutchen, and I think Hanson will have a really good year but I don't expect another sub 3.00 ERA from him.

Yea, maybe they are assuming Porcello will be better than all of them lol.

If not the MLB fails lol.

i think because they probably have to have a certain number of optoions

and it's hard to take out any of those guys.
McCutchen was great
Coghlan was ROY
Bailey was great and ROY
Hanson was awesome
Wieters is going to be really really good

Porcello had a good season last year, but those guys were better.
now, this year, sure. if it was up to me i'd take out Coghlan who overahieved and put Porcello on the list

EDIT: cheato beat me to it

of these guys though, I'll take Hanson because he's on my fantasy team :D

Unless I'm wrong, Porcello played for the best team. And had a more pivotal role on the team than probably most of them. Wouldn't of came close to the playoffs without him last year.

so

unlike MVP, rookie of the year is all about numbers.
thats why last place teams get ROY all the time

those guys were all better.
Porcello had a decent season for a pitcher when you're looking at the numbers.
but since he's a rookie, the numbers look better (as they should)

I picked Hanson but I think they'll all do well this season. I'm hoping Hanson for my fantasy team's sake.

Tommy Hanson, Ive seen this guy pitch and he is the real deal. You can just see it in his face the composure that he commands on the mound. He also is under great tutelage, like Glavine, Hudson, and Lowe.
