Cliff Lee: Yankees
Nobody in their right mind turns down that kind of cash & no, Texas can't get that close with an offer. One thing the Yankees will do without hesitation: seriously overpay for a 33-year old starting pitcher.

Carl Crawford: Red Sox

Crawford is due about $100M and that would pretty much narrow down the field. I see the Tigers making a play but Boston has longed for an all-star outfielder since Manny was dealt and Bay didn't work out.

Jayson Werth: Angels
Artie Moreno has already committed to doing whatever it takes to get the Halos back on top of the AL West. Werth would add some much needed power to the heart of a lineup that struggled to produce runs in 2010. Signing Werth makes sense for the Angels for every reason signing Vlad did back when.

Adam Dunn: Red Sox
I don't buy this "Adam Dunn doesn't like the American League" talk and even if he does, John Henry's wallet can change that. Missing the 2010 postseason really stung for the Red Sox and you can believe they will do everything to make a splash during FA. The Red Sox really want Adrian Gonzalez but they can't sit around for half a season and wait for San Diego to trade him.

Adrian Beltre: Angels
Declined his option for 2011, ruling out the chances that he returns to Boston. Again, Artie Moreno is going to spend big and Adrian's best season ever came in the state of California.

Victor Martinez: Mets

Boston just doesn't aggressively pursue their own free agents and they again, lose. Martinez takes the same rout Jason Bay did and heads to Queens. New GM and assistant GM are looking to add some power to the lineup and V-Mart is the household name at catcher that hasn't been in New York for a long time.

Jorge de la Rosa: Rockies

Jorge isn't a stud but he's reliable and the Rockies cannot afford to let him get away. He might get a few calls from other teams but I can't see any team offering up a better deal than the Rockies do to keep him.

Paul Konerko: Diamondbacks
Konerko is nearing 35 years old and his power is starting to decline. He'd better served in the AL where he could DH most of the season, however I don't see a huge market for him. Arizona seems likely as they are hard up for another Tony Clark-type of corner infielder.

Rafael Soriano: Angels
Soriano will complete the big spending of Artie Moreno this offseason. K-Rod was let go, Fuentes didn't work out, and the Angels need a guy that can be a dominating closer.

Derek Jeter: Yankees

There's no question Derek will be a Yankee, the question is for how much?

Mariano Rivera: Yankees
He wants to be a Yankee, the Yankees want him around as long as he has the desire to keep throwing. Expect a year-to-year contract scenario with the Yanks from here on out.

Carl Pavano: Twins
Very productive for the Twins and they will do all they can to maintain the team they fielded in 2010. Pavano would be dumb to leave Minnesota as he's in the right place and salvaged his career with the Twins.

Brandon Webb: Nationals
Mounting injuries have killed have driven his career to a halt and I don't see many teams lunging at the opportunity to pay him. Washington has been on a 3-year search to find a veteran ace-type of starter and they will overpay to get him.

Carlos Pena: Rays
Pena likes the playing in Tampa and he's way too important to their lineup. Rays are cutting payroll for 2011 but they will manage to lock him up longterm, much like they did with Crawford 5 years ago.

Orlando Hudson: Mets

Will get paid b/c of a weak market for middle infield. Mets still kicking themselves for not signing him last offseason and 2B has been a nightmare position for them in recent seasons.

Johnny Damon: Yankees
Yankee fans miss Johnny Damon and the Yankees miss his bat. Letting Damon walk in favor of guys like Austin Kearns and Marcus Thames was one of the biggest mistakes of 2010. Damon is no everyday outfielder anymore but he's prime for DH/5th outfielder.

Manny Ramirez: Blue Jays
I like Manny Ramirez to the Jays for the same reasons they signed Frank Thomas to a 2-year deal back when. Manny is a headcase, he's a pain in the ass, his skills aren't what they were...but he's marketable. Toronto is in need of drawing some attention back to the franchise, Manny has already said he'd love to play for Farrell, and his likeness alone would sell tickets.

Lance Berkman: Astros
He wasn't comfortable in New York, he didn't play well in New York, he still lives in Texas, and he'll probably take a lot less money to finish there.

Vladimir Guerrero: Rangers

Even though they declined his option, they'll bring him back for less money.

Jim Thome: Twins
His bat was hot during the season and he provided much needed power in lieu of Morneau's injuries. Again, the Twins will try and field the same exact team in 2011 b/c they feel they can win it all with them.

Andy Pettitte: Yankees
Another sweet, 1-year deal from the Yankees, where he will be on the back-end of one of the nastiest rotations in all of baseball.
