It's still early, but what (good or bad) has been surprising about your team?

Not even surprised, have known for a year that our O-Line sucks. should just bench beatty and give Brewer a shot next week. Beatty, Boothe, Baas, Snee, Pugh. Could be worse actually, although I think Snee is on his last leg. Which is fine because it's be great to rid ourselves of that salary.

For the Saints, the obvious is the defense. It's early, and we've still got some real good offenses to play, but 12.7 ppg is no joke. I called it all offseason that the defense would be improved for the simple fact that we wouldn't be forced round balls into square holes this season, but I didn't see them being this good. Even Malcolm Jenkins has become a serviceable safety.

I'm surprised by the lack of effort and leadership more than anything.

Seeing Duke "The Nacho Man" Ihenacho and Shaun Phillips fill in for Von Miller.

After getting the players back that we lost last season and adding talented rookies to a depleted secondary, the defense somehow got worse.

I'd say Joique Bell. Looking very good as a backup.
Other than that I think I've expected everything else with this team lol.

Where do I start.

We traded the face of our franchise, who we selected 3rd last year. Brian Hoyer is starting at QB, McGahee at RB, Jordan Cameron is becoming a top 5 TE in the league and we put on an entertaining show this week.

Less surprising: we still suck

George Selvie. Spencer's injury being THAT bad. Orlando Scandrick has been excellent. He's usually good, but this is the best he's played, yet. Carr's even out performing my expectations. J.J. Wilcox. Brian Waters actually signed (Thank God).

Da'Rel Scott having nearly as many snaps on offense as David Wilson.

-the fact that we have 3 losses and its only week 4
-our redzone efficiency (or lack of thereof)
-all these injuries so early in the season
-the realization that we might not even make the playoffs this year

Probably. The win over the Bengals was impressive, but we still have no running game, and how long can Hoyer keep this up? Defense is rock solid tho, but I did expect that.

Yeah, I find Coughlin's treatment of Wilson to be absurd. Yeah, he has a fumbling problem, but he's still showing flashes, and is the only guy who can possibly get your run game going. Give him the damn ball.

The Browns should beat the Bills. I think the defense will be too much for the Rookie on the other side. I don't know if the Browns defense was that good or the Bengals just flat out sucked. They didn't even look like they were into that game, looked flat from the beginning. But I guess that is a Marvin Lewis coached team after all. They like playing down to the level of competition, not that the Browns are a terrible team. Their defense will give them a chance in most games, they do have a good defense and I think that is the best defense the Bengals have faced thus far. I'm still trying to figure out what exactly happened that game
