BSPN= Boston Sports Promotion Network

In this week's MLB Power Rankings:

The Yankees are dropped from the top spot for losing a series to the old misfits, I mean the Angels in Anaheim. Meanwhile the Tampa Bay Gays have played the second worst schedule in the league, some of the teams consisting of powerhouse teams in the BJ's, LO'rioLes, and White Sux. The Gays have also lost their only series played against a good team in that toilet bowl that they call a stadium. The Yankees on the other hand have played the battle tested old misfits (Angels), Oakland A's and others. As a result so far, the Yankees have played the second toughest schedule in the league only behind the misfits. We already dominated the Gays at their toilet bowl, I mean dome. Also HTF is Boston ranked 14th???

I saw Boston mentioned once in your mini-rant but, yet, it's about "BSPN"? lulz

You're mad Boston is 14th? That's about right in the middle of a 30 team league (don't know if you can do the math) which is, actually, pretty acurate for Boston. They're playing mediocre.

I don't think you're in any position to call another stadium a "toilet bowl".

How are the Angels old misfits? How are they even misfits? Why can't there ever be a troll who comes up clever nicknames.

Also, bthew, your grammar is just out of sight.

See we can all just spout useless babble in the form of a rant. I give this about an hour before I have to delete it and douse a flame war.

Boston is ranked ahead of 11 (count it 11) teams that have a better record than them. Enjoy 4th place this year.

ZOMG THE SOX ARE 8-11 BUT THE BREWERS ARE 8-10...FUCK YOU BSPN AND YOUR BOSTON BIAS.

Bthew, how do you figure we finish 4th when you've already put the Orioles, Jays, and Rays in the bottom 3? You're either A) Admitting that we are better than them, at least enough to finish 2nd or B) One of those teams, in fact, will NOT finish in the bottom 3.

So, to put that in layman's terms for you, you just contradicted yourself.

1. Yankees (down year but the rest of the East is worse)
2. Rays (playing over their heads)
3. Blue Jays (barely average, but Boston has nothing going for them)
4. Red Sox (overrated pitching, defense and Tek is the best hitter)
5. O's (may post a worse win% than the Nets did this year)

Okay, I didn't need a clarification (though it's GREATLY appreciated). I was merely point out your contradiction.

This just proves how retarded you are.

I'm not usually the one to bring out the name calling -- but you sure are just a <Censored>ing moron.

Overrated pitching? Based on what? 1 month? You have to be <Censored>ting me... hell, the Red Sox have a better rotation than your Yankees. Yeah, CC is all fine and dandy but Burnett is above average, Vazquez sucks in the AL just as i predicted, Pettitte is an old fart, and when the #5 guy (whoever the <Censored> it is) starts to falter Girardi will <Censored> with Joba again and put him in the rotation, then baby him 5-6 innings per start, then after 8 starts move him back to the pen for 10 days, then back to the rotation...

So seriously, shut the <Censored> up

Phil Hughes (our #5) flirted with a no hitter in his last start. Retarded? I call that ironic. I've said repeatedly that Vazquez sucks, and Andy is probably the best #3 in the game. And cheato, you are too easy to rip on.

As apposed to you, who gets enjoyment out of trolling and acting like an idiot, well you probably don't realize how much of an idiot you actually are.

I almost forgot that gmf is the same genius who said that we wouldn't make the playoffs last season. Losing seems to follow this guy everywhere, even to my Giants.

Yankee circle jerk at DH's house. Everyone's coming...Joe Buck, Tim McCarver, John Sterling, pretty much anybody who's anybody because they all know who the greatest team to ever take the field is.

wow, way to not defend yourself there... when did I say Hughes as the #5 was retarded? I said eventually Girardi's man-love for Joba is going to result in Joba ending up in the rotation, and he'll bounce from rotation to bullpen as always.

I just don't understand how:
CC
AJ
Pettitte
Vazquez
Hughes

can be better than:
Beckett
Lester
Lackey
Buchholz
Dice-K

your rating people too early... that's the problem. So what if Hughes flirted with a no-no, when the Mets were on the brink of collapsing a few years ago John Maine carried a no-no into the 8th to keep them alive for one more day. The Padres are leading their division -- it means nothing!

Wait two months... this Red Sox rotation won't be "overrated", they will make your rotation look like a joke.

well of course he is. Unfortunately, the sad thing is, I actually think he believes some of it.

I wasn't calling Hughes at 5 retarded... But, Hughes was excellent last year as well. Our rotation is a joke? Outside of Vazquez (who was 4th in the NL in Cy Young votes), they've been decent. And we only get better as the season goes on, history repeats itself...

Anyone feel like explaining ESPN's bias or is this flame war going to continue?
