Until my next mock, I decided to do my positional rankings for each position. I combined 4-3 OLB and ILB, and 3-4 end and 4-3 end. I only did 2 safeties, due to the fact I haven't watched any others, and they probably won't go until the late 2nd or 3rd round anyways. Brackets convey my round grade.

I'd say Brandon Taylor of LSU is the next best safety, and is the best FS in the class.


Shocked at how high you have Randle. I like the kid a lot too, but not that high. He wont see the first round

I love Randle. I watched 2 or 3 of his, then 2 or 3 of Floyd's, and in almost everything I looked for I liked Randle better. He's gonna rise man, and with the need of WR, I'm gonna bet he'll get taken by the end of this first.

I wouldn't be upset at all if we drafted him. He, Brockers, and Taylor have been looked at a lot by BB and JMD.

I want Vinny Curry though, he's my top guy I want

Why?
Curry is somewhat slow, doesn't have an elite step, and isn't quick twitch. I don't like him in a 3-4, and there's a reason he's seen as a second rounder. There's a lot of guys, even Chandler Jones who fits you guys better.

Randle will be a stud. He was getting the ball thrown to him by a bunch of nobodies at LSU.

I'm not a fan of Brandon Taylor. I'd take Markelle Martin over Taylor, and if we're talking safeties in general, I'd take George Iloka over him as well.

I wouldn't take either any higher than the 3rd though. I'm assuming that you only had two safeties because no others were worth a 2nd round pick.
